The AI travel wave produced a hundred lookalike planners. Five apps are doing something genuinely different, and yes, one of them is ours.

Every week a new AI trip planner launches, and most of them are the same demo: a chat box, a pretty itinerary, and a handoff to someone else the moment money is involved. Underneath the noise, though, a real generation shift is happening. These are the five apps defining it, judged on one question: do they change how travel actually gets done?

3. Hopper
The elder of the new age, and still the one that made fares feel like a market you could be smart about. Price prediction, freeze the fare products, and a mobile first experience that trained a generation to wait for the right moment to book.

- Not an AI agent, you still do all the searching

4. Wonderplan

5. Skye
Ours, so judge the bias accordingly, but look at the pattern above: every app on this list is missing the same few things, and they are the things Skye was built around.
